The Kenya Export Promotion and Branding Agency (KEPROBA) is partnering with the ecomConnect program at the International Trade Centre (ITC) to build a community for ecommerce entrepreneurs and MSMEs in Kenya, with the ultimate goal of raising awareness on the potential of e-commerce, capacity building, and putting in place partnerships to support the uptake of, and success in, e-commerce.
The program will support entrepreneurs, exporters and micro, small & medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Kenya to acquire the necessary e-commerce skills and develop e-commerce capabilities to trade on e-commerce platforms, provide access to ITC’s online resources and tools, organize a series of technical workshops and trainings, and support networking opportunities for potential collaborations via the ecomconnect.org online community.
An introductory webinar has been scheduled for Thursday 9th June 2022, from 5 pm Kenya time. During the webinar, SMEs will be introduced to capacity building under the EcomConnect program and thereafter be required to take e-learning courses.
The 2nd e-learning course "Using Virtual Marketplaces for your E-commerce Initiative" has been scheduled for Tuesday 2nd June 2022, and will be accessible for 2 weeks.
